I was glad to see these places, but the stops were too short.

The bus driver was knowledgeable and witty. We had a very short stop in Lexington and more time than we needed at Old North Bridge... Next time we would take the extended tour : )

having booked and paid well in advance and being instructed by the driver to simply go in and let people know we were there, we did not have to stand in line...I was annnoyed that not only did I have to stand in line, but I was moved back and back while other people paying with cash and credit cards were moved up the line....eventually someone came over with a little machine, which did not work, and after some playing about with it, I was belatedly given a paper ticket for two and went to the bus. I was the very last to arrive, and was consequently forced to sit at the back of the bus for the entire tirp, although I had told people that made me sick. The trip is worth doing. The driver was good. The commentator was mostly right in his facts, though I caught him out in a couple of things, and he left out a good deal of "influential" material. He was also a bit sarcastic. I am a history teacher and one of my specialities is the American Revolution/ War of Independence, so I do know what I am talking about. The bus was OK, my discomfcort wasd entirely due to my own peculiarities and the lack of attention paid to advance notice given, and the chaotic mess at the ticket office.

We wish we would have had more time at some of the stops, however, it was a great trip. We would recommend it for a quick overview and for those that can do it, go back for more time. I would take other tours with this company next time.
