Boston Ghosts & Gravestones Trolley & Walking Tour (Trolley)

Description

Meet at our easy-to-locate main ticket booth next to the New England Aquarium for a night of chills and thrills awaits you onboard our Trolley of the Doomed. Join your host, a 17th Century gravedigger, cursed with the sentence of eternal damnation.

This wretched creature is doomed to travel the streets of Boston and relay the stories of the unfortunate souls he has encountered and the macabre events he's witnessed during his purgatory.

Hear about Boston's most sinister characters, from the Angel of Death, to the king of all killers, the Boston Strangler. Learn about all the haunts & ghouls that call the "Hub" their home.

But that's not all! Step inside 2 of the oldest burying grounds in Boston proper for a walking tour you will never forget. Learn the significance of the imagery you'll find in these 17th century burial grounds and the famous and not so famous (but even more interesting) occupants interred within.

Visit the Copp's Hill Burying Ground in the North End, nestled atop the tallest point in one of Boston's oldest historic districts. Visit the final resting place of Cotton Mather, a man famous for his "intimate" involvement with the Salem Witch Trials.

Then, on to the Granary Burying Ground, where you will visit the final resting places of many of the most famous heroes of the American Revolution including John Hancock, Paul Revere and Samuel Adams.

We had a terrific guide. Please tell him that we saw his "girlfriend" from the Commons on Halloween in Salem. Actually, we heard her before we saw her.

It was great fun! So glad we had our guide on our bus. She made the evening interactive for everyone. My only complaint was the mosquitoes in the cemetery where Revere is buried. I realize you can't control that but everyone I saw was slapping and scratching at those blood suckers! I found it very interesting and much better than the walking ghost tour we had previously taken last fall. Even my 17 year old son enjoyed it! I will certainly recommend this to anyone I know visiting Boston! Thank you.
